Apex recently hosted its first Apprentices Day, welcoming apprentices from across branches for a dynamic programme of team-building, professional development, and business progress. The event, held at the Wednesbury branch, was designed to foster collaboration and inspire fresh thinking. It was met with enthusiastic feedback and high praise from attendees.

 

The day kicked off with an insightful talk from Managing Director Steve Forbes, whose words set the tone for a culture of empowerment and continuous improvement. Having begun his career as an apprentice at Apex nearly three decades ago, Gareth’s story resonated with attendees and demonstrated the potential for growth within the company. Data apprentice Nathan Jones, who has been with Apex for over ten years and is currently upskilling, reflected on the experience: "Apprentices Day was a really good chance to bounce ideas around with fresh-minded people.
