The Aerotight® Nut
Apex incorporates an in-house manufacturing division based in the heart of the Midlands at Leicester. This facility is geared towards the production of the renowned Aerotight® All Metal Stainless Steel Self-Locking Nuts.
The Aerotight® is an All Metal Stiff Nut which can be re-used many times due its self-locking function, which will remain effective having been used several times.
It is designed to stay in position whether tightened down or not, provided the locking element is engaged and it does not have to achieve recommended torque to be effective.
No additional par
ts are required for Aerotight® to function, and therefore no special tools are needed for its application.
Customised specials, including the Thin Aerotight®, or other specified thicknesses may be supplied in suitable volumes. Added to this larger diameter sizes are available upon request.
It is also available in various other materials and can be supplied in all plated finishes if required.
