In March 2024, Apex Stainless Fasteners welcomed two new members of staff to the business. Dan Clark joins as Purchasing Manager, and Samiha Chowdhury as e-Commerce & Marketing Executive.
This is an exciting time for Apex Stainless Fasteners, as the team grows and new opportunities arise to develop a business fit for purpose in the future. Purchasing and eCommerce will play important roles in the future development of the business.
Dan joins Apex Stainless Fastener as Purchasing Manager. His main responsibilities include managing the Purchasing Team, buying and maintaining stock levels, as well as negotiating with suppliers on pricing and supplier selection, amongst other longer-term projects.
Commenting on his appointment and joining the Apex team, Dan responded:
“My favourite aspect of working at Apex so far is the people who have made me feel very welcome and I enjoy how everyone works hard together whilst in an approachable atmosphere.”
Samiha’s role is also brand-new, and the addition of her role comes after the recent establishment of an e-Commerce & Marketing Department, headed up by another new hire, Jason Lloyd, e-Commerce & Marketing Manager. He joins with extensive experience building e-Commerce & Marketing teams for over 15 years in the B2C sector.
Commenting on her appointment on joining the team:
“I’m really looking forward to working on a range of new and exciting projects, as well as developing my skills in Marketing whilst working at Apex. My favourite thing about Apex is also the people and I find the work culture to be both encouraging and kind.”
Samiha has started her Multi-Channel Marketing Apprenticeship with this role. Apex has had a long and successful record of accomplishment of developing apprentices that eventually became senior leaders in the business.
